Dear Baby,

We saw you and heard your heartbeat for the first time today.  We looked at each other with tears in our eyes when we heard your little pitter patter on the monitor.  What a miracle.

You are 6 weeks and 1 day, the size of a blueberry.  Your heart is strong with a heart rate of 113 bpm (range at your age is 90-110).  Will you have a big, caring sweet heart like your father?

Dear Baby, 

Just a few days after God started knitting you together we were driving on I65 and a deer hit us.  We were protected by a semi that hit the deer first.  I know that God has a plan for you.

Your Uncle Andy helped me fix my car.  We are so lucky to be loved by our family.
